Original stage concept: nested rectangular light portals around a central stage

A study in how a single opening can organise a room. A series of light portals draws attention toward the stage without surrounding it with screens.

The challenge

Give a launch one clear focal point while keeping the audience close to the action.

The response

Repeat a simple rectangular frame at different depths. Keep the stage low, conceal the technical infrastructure, and let lighting control the reveal.

Behind the study

The visual explores a modular rig. Structural loads, sightlines, emergency access and fabrication would need venue-specific development before a real build.
